Meet Our Board Members
The Board is made up of nine CHTC players who oversee and help run the club.
Julie Hasler
CHTC Member Since 2002
I joined the Capitol Hill Tennis Club while working on the Hill at the recommendation of a colleague. I have been an active member in the club since joining, which is a testament to the coaching, lessons, and encouragement of the club members. The biggest draw then (and now) are the lessons and club drills, which is still the best deal in town!

Ryan Moy
CHTC Member Since 2009
I have been playing tennis recreationaly since 1995. I love CHTC because it allows me to improve my game, meet new people, and test myself against younger players, keeping my competitive juices flowing.
Net or baseline?
Baseline but I like using the whole court with spins and angles.
Hard Court or Clay?
Clay because it's easier on my joints.
Favorite Drill?
King/Queen of the court.
Rico Doss
CHTC Member Since 1997
After moving from Oregon I immediately sought out tennis and have been an active member since with a hiatus or two. Presently I enjoy playing but am always happy to provide some instruction and like to stress that there are no levels at CHTC—everyone’s welcome. And as I got my start teaching and learning tennis with the University of Illinois tennis team at summer tennis camps in Champaign-Urbana, I like to continue to give back to the game that’s given me so much. I am currently ranked 7 million in the world, though due to my current work schedule, will not be able to join qualifying for the French Open this year.
